Third Year Begins!
Where did that summer go? Talk about time flying, possibly the quickest five months of my life, not that it has been wasted. I've been so lucky over the holidays and taken myself to Barcelona and Thailand; never have I seen so much beauty in two polar opposite environments. Barca was obviously very European and everywhere you go you are surrounded by the stunning works of Antoni Gaudi throughout the classic yet cosmopolitan city. Thailand was a truly insane adventure that I would take again in a heartbeat - not only did I get to visit some stunning temples, ruins and beaches, I met some wonderful people and learnt some amazing things (about myself and my work). We went as strangers but came home as a family. Thank you Drawing Escapes! Feeling refreshed and ready to go; I'm determined to make the most of this last year! Check out Amy's photos of Gdansk from last years trip. "I recently travelled to Gdansk on a drawing trip, this gave me the opportunity to develop my skills as an artist. The group discussions and tutorials have allowed me to understand the way in which some other artists work."
