Bali is a tropical paradise and a perfect destination for a drawing holiday. It has a deeply spiritual culture, with friendly and welcoming people. Its beautiful and varied landscape and architecture are the backdrop to an exotic location that is visually stunning.
Bali is an island of culture: ceramics, painting, drawing, batik, woven textiles, wood carving, dance and music pervade all aspects of daily life. Religious festivals are abundant and the food is amazing! As well as developing your drawing skills, you will have the opportunity to attend workshops in Ubud to learn the basics of batik, jewellery making or woodcarving. Bali has a well developed tourist infrastructure and is famous for its meditation workshops, yoga classes, vegetarian and vegan restaurants, temples and markets, as celebrated in the film Eat, Pray, Love. Accommodation is in twin, en-suite rooms. Most of our hotels have a swimming pool. Price includes flights, accommodation in twin rooms with breakfast, all transport in Bali, tutorials and workshops. Eat Pray Love.... Drawing in Bali isn't quite as romantic as that but as you will see below it is complete dream, and a bargain!
As always, our locations are dynamic and varied. From the cultural and tourist centre of Ubud in central Bali, we draw in remote lakeside locations in the mountains and on quiet beaches on the east coast. There is plenty of time to develop your skills and we have local driver who takes care of all our transport.
