3 nights in Bangkok - Amazing culture and temples, great food and street life. Possibly the ultimate Asian city. Modern contemporary life sits side by side with traditional culture in an amazing melange of old and new.
5 nights in Siem Reap - We travel overland from Bangkok to Siem Reap in Cambodia, which takes about 7 hours. This is our base to visit Angkor Wat, the gateway to the UNESCO site. It's a vibrant small town full of cafes and restaurants. It's known as the epicentre of Cambodian chic offering a huge range of cuisines, great shopping opportunities and is Cambodia's leading cultural scene.
2 nights in Battambang, Cambodia - Cambodia's second largest town is bustling and friendly and offers the opportunity of interesting day trips to nearby villages to see traditional Cambodian culture and crafts. It has some interesting restaurants and cafe's and is a quiet, chilled place to experience everyday Cambodian life.
4 nights in Ko Chang or Ko Samet - Peaceful tropical paradise and time to completely unwind and reflect on the visit to Cambodia. There's time for drawing workshops and to document what we have seen.
2 more nights in Bangkok - For shopping for clothes, jewellery and local crafts. Also time for one last massage followed by a plate of pad Thai and an ice cold Singa beer!
